Eligible consumer (serbest tüketici)

A consumer in Turkey who can choose a supplier and buy electricity under a bilateral agreement. A non-eligible consumer can buy only from the incumbent supplier in its region.

Whether a consumer is eligible is shown on the bill. EPDK, Turkey’s energy regulator, sets the consumption limit for eligibility; check EPDK announcements for the current limit.
