What data we process

  • Demo form: full name, organisation and email address; optionally phone, sector, number of sites or metering points, and your main need.
  • Early access pre-registration: email address, the province(s) where your sites are (and the side of Istanbul), type of facility; optionally organisation, number of branches, needs, whether your meter is in OSOS scope, role and three optional consents. We do not ask for your distribution company; for the province you choose it is determined from the publicly available licence coverage and kept internally with your request.
  • In both forms: when you sent the form, the page language and the version of the notice you saw.

We do not store your IP address or browser details in form records.

Why we process it

  • To respond to your demo request, contact you and plan the meeting.
  • To answer your early access pre-registration and to order requests by region at province level; if you consented, to notify you when the free OSOS tier opens and to analyse your invoice for free; if you consented to commercial messages, to send you promotional emails about GenieBlocks products and services.
  • To keep a record of requests and when they were answered.
  • To protect the forms against automated use and abuse.

Legal grounds

  • Demo request: processing is necessary and directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Article 5(2)(c)), and our legitimate interest (Article 5(2)(f)).
  • Early access notification, free analysis and commercial electronic messages: your explicit consent (Article 5(1); for commercial messages also Law No. 6563). All three consent boxes are optional and never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw your consents at any time.
  • Request records and form protection: our legitimate interest (Article 5(2)(f)).

How we collect it

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated means, when you fill in the forms on the site.

Who receives it

  • The site, the forms and the form records run on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure. Form records are stored in data centres in the European Union.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects the forms. To detect bots, Cloudflare processes signals from your browser (such as your IP address and browser details).
  • Notifications of new requests are sent to our company email address and processed by our email service provider.
  • Authorised public bodies, on request and to the extent required by law.

Some of these providers are outside Turkey. Transfers abroad are made in line with the procedures in Article 9 of the KVKK.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as the purpose of processing requires; after that, or when you ask us to, we delete or anonymise it. We keep your early access entry until the service opens and we get back to you, and for no longer than 24 months from the date of the entry; after that we delete or anonymise it. If you withdraw a consent, we stop the related messages.

Site analytics and cookies

We measure site visits in aggregate with Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, this tool does not use cookies or browser storage (localStorage) and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address or browser details.

The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • request information if it has been processed,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
  • know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it has been transferred,
  • ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • ask for corrections, deletions and destruction to be notified to third parties to whom it was transferred,
  • object to a result against you that arises solely from analysis by automated systems,
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
