Hardware

A hardware-agnostic platform, with optional hardware of our own

GenieBlocks takes data from the meters and systems you already use; you don’t need to buy a device to get started. We are developing our own devices for places where metering is missing.

GenieBlocks hardware

Hardware you can use with the platform; using it is optional.

  • Genie Core family

  • GenieBlocks gateway

Devices in development

Both devices are at the prototype stage. They will be announced here when ready. Timing and scope may change; this is not a commitment.

  • LoRaWAN datalogger

    PrototypeComing soon

A low-power data logger that carries meter and sensor data to the platform over LoRaWAN.

    Designed inputs

    • RS-485 (Modbus)
    • 2 analogue inputs
    • 2 isolated pulse inputs
    • Bluetooth
    • NFC

    PrototypeComing soon

We are developing our own energy analyser; the prototype has been tested in the field.

LoRaWAN network server

The network server runs on the platform, and can also be installed on your own server if you prefer.

Start without buying a device

Today the platform takes data from:

  • OSOS
  • Modbus (RTU / TCP)
  • LoRaWAN
  • REST API
  • MCP

If your device isn't listed, we add it together.
