Energy and maintenance for buildings that can’t afford downtime
Hospitals and hotels run around the clock; comfort, uninterrupted power and orderly maintenance show up directly in service quality. GenieBlocks tracks energy consumption together with critical power, comfort and maintenance data, and critical load operations always run with human approval.
Three common problems
Visibility of critical power
UPS load and generator tests are often tracked in separate systems or on paper, and problems surface during an outage.

Load that runs around the clock
Heating, cooling and hot water systems run continuously. A slow rise in base load goes unnoticed in day-to-day operations.

Maintenance and record keeping
When records of periodic maintenance, field checks and fault responses are kept in different places, showing what was done and when gets harder.

How the platform addresses them
The modules that map to these problems. All modules run on one data backbone, in the same interface.

Where the data comes from
You start without replacing your existing systems. Today the platform takes data from:
- Modbus (RTU / TCP)
- OSOS
- LoRaWAN
- REST API
Connected in the setup project: M-Bus · IEC 62056-21 · RS-485 · Pulse output · Analogue (4-20 mA, 0-10 V) · MQTT · Databases on your own servers
If your device isn't listed, we add it together.
Regulation
Turkey’s Energy Efficiency Law No. 5627 requires commercial, service and public buildings above a total floor area or annual energy consumption threshold set in the law to appoint an energy manager or contract this service. The ministry can change these thresholds, so check the current official text to see whether your building is covered.

How it works: A generator test at a hotel and residential complex
A periodic generator test is scheduled in the Maintenance module, and a work order goes to the responsible technician.
The technician records the test on site with a checklist; the Critical Power screen shows the test record together with UPS load.
If an unexpected value appears during the test, an alarm is raised, and the people to call are ready in the Contact Directory.
Genie never carries out an operation involving critical loads on its own; its recommendation goes to the facility manager for approval.
This is an example use case; it does not describe a specific organisation or result.
