How we get started
The same four steps at every site; the pace depends on your data and priorities.
Get to know each other
We talk about your sites, your meters and the work that takes the most effort, and tour the platform together with Sample Site data.
Connect your data
You connect OSOS meter data with your own account; nothing is installed on site. Invoices and spreadsheets are a starting point too.
Extend with setup
Sub-meters, Modbus and LoRaWAN devices and the other systems you use are connected in the setup project.
Operate
Alarms, work orders, invoices and reports in one place. Genie answers your questions from your site’s data.

Where the platform runs
There are two delivery models; modules and screens are the same in both.
Cloud
We run the platform; no servers needed on your side.
For teams that want to start without setting aside servers and IT staff.
Data: Where the data is kept depends on the customer’s needs.
On-prem
The platform runs on your own servers; we set it up together.
For organisations and public bodies that must keep data in-house.
Data: The platform can run on the customer’s own servers (on-prem).
What pricing is based on
Pricing depends on your sites. There is no fixed package or list price; the quote comes from these criteria:
- Number of sitesBranches, buildings or campuses.
- Number of meters and measurement pointsMain meters, sub-meters and other monitored points.
- Selected modulesOnly the modules you use.
- Delivery modelCloud or on-prem.
- Setup workSite work and connections to other systems, if needed.
Payment is by annual licence or monthly subscription.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to buy devices?
- No. The platform is hardware-independent; you start with OSOS data and nothing installed on site. GenieBlocks hardware is optional. Hardware
- Where do I get an OSOS account?
- You get the OSOS account directly from your distribution company. By province, the application channels and required documents are in the OSOS section of the Energy Academy.
- Where is our data kept?
